Connecticut Electric Manufacturing

Connecticut Electric was formed in Litchfield Connecticut in 1906 by 3 brothers, A.H, I.B., and James Trumball to manufacture electrical products including fittings, switches and lighting sockets.

In 1912, a new factory was built in Bridgeport Connecticut and the factory was relocated. Today, Connecticut -Electric has diversified into a manufacturer and distributor of legacy residential circuit breakers, residential load centers, manual transfer switches and a variety of portable power cable assemblies for the temporary power and RV industry.

Connecticut Electric sells through over 900 distributors including Home Depot, traditional electric distributors and a variety of eCommerce platforms.
